Wednesday Wish List: Forever 21

I haven't shopped at Forever 21 in a very long time. The other night, I was browsing their online collection & saw a few items I must have in my wardrobe.

This taupe blazer is number one my list. I love a boyfriend blazer. This will pair nicely with skinny jeans & booties on the weekend or spruce up a dress for work. It's very versatile & easier to wear in warmer months compared to the gray bf blazer I currently own.

Second, this navy dress is perfect for touring vineyards. It can be dressed up or down. I'd actually like to pair it with the white blazer underneath it. How cute would this dress & blazer be together?!

Lastly, I'm trying to incorporate color into my wardrobe. This surplus blouse is the perfect color to add spice to my usual neutral heavy looks.

Wednesday Wish List: Sequin Dresses

Hello all-

This week I'm bringing you some sequin dresses! I've already started planning my outfit for my fave holiday- New Year's Eve! Although I haven't confirmed any plans, I will be donning a little sequin number as always. This year, I'm thinking about pairing sequins with either feathers or tulle- haven't decided just yet. But my time is running out, especially since I'll have to order one online. Which ones are your favorite?

Wednesday Wish List: Christmas

Hi everyone-

Can you believe it's already December?! I've been spending a lot of timing thinking about ways to recreate, reinvent, redo my blog. So this year, instead of wishing for the latest handbag or must-have boots, I've got my eyes set on things that will improve Shoes & Champagne.

1. Blog Makeover: I want to rebrand Shoes & Champagne- blog name, design, logo. I've researched a lot of different companies to use & it's rather expensive. I truly think this will help me to expand my brand & reach the audience I want. S&C is like a business & I'd like to start treating it as such.

2. Tripod: I don't have enough fingers & toes to count how many times I haven't taken outfit pictures because I simply had no one to play photographer. To ensure I post regular OOTD posts, a tripod is the only way.

3. DSLR: I think it's time to upgrade to a better camera. A fancy little number with different lenses & filters. My photo quality isn't that great & I would really like to showcase my outfits in the best way possible. I don't have a preference yet as to which brand to buy, but I am a die hard Nikon fan!

4. PhotoShop: Photo editing software. Enough said.

5. Blogging Class: A few months ago, I came across a company who offers online blogging classes. I would love to be able to take a few of these & really jump into the business of blogging.

The final item on my wish list is very important to me- fitness. I've been trying to figure out different ways to get a good workout. From the elliptical, treadmill, weights, cycling, I've tried it all. I'd like memberships to try different classes. I'm very much into cycling (see my post on my favorite studio here) & I'd like to try Bikram yoga & barre classes. Everyday trips to Gold's & hopping on the elliptical for an hour just isn't cutting it for me anymore. I want to try more!

Wednesday Wish List: Jessica Simpson Booties

Hello readers-

A few weeks ago, I saw the most gorgeous pair of taupe booties. They were sitting on the shelf at TJ Maxx. They're Jessica Simpson, which if you've never owned a pair of JS shoes, they're all very comfortable! I've been lusting over a pair of taupe booties for quite some time now & I've yet to buy a pair. Unfortunately, the $60 price tag stopped me from biting the bullet.

Just last week, I went to a different TJ's hoping I'd find these booties. Sure enough this one had them too. Yet again, the $60 price stopped me. $60 is not a lot of money for a pair of shoes I'm sure I'd wear a lot; however, I don't need shoes. When I don't need anything, I try not to spend more than $30-$40 on a single item. I barely have anywhere to put the shoes I currently own, let alone another pair.

I think I'll have to buy these the next time I seen them simply because I canNOT stop thinking about them. I have already planned to pair them with certain items I currently own. Hopefully, I'll be able to find them.. & on sale!

The Limited has always been my go-to for work appropriate clothing. I bet you didn't know that this store is also a great store for play clothes as well. Check out the sweater dresses, peplum tops & glam dresses they have in stock. I worked for The Limited for a very short time last year, but instantly fell in love with the quality & amazing prices of the clothes.
