OOTD: Plaid is Rad

Hi everyone-

As I'm writing this post, all I can think about is how I really need a photographer or a tripod. These pics were taken by my mom a few weeks ago when she was in town & she does not know how to work my camera. So I present to you these iPhone photos. Ehhh.

Anywho, I wore this outfit when my mom was in town. We dropped the dogs off at the groomer's, then headed straight to the mall. Normally I'm not a huge fan of shopping, but I know she'll buy me a few things when we're out. I had to take advantage. I'll show you what I got in another post this week.

As of late, I simply cannot get enough of plaid. Guess you can say I'm mad for plaid (LOL). It was a little chilly this day, so I knew to throw on my scarf & boots. I also knew I didn't want to lug around a heavy coat, so this faux fur leather jacket completed this look wonderfully.

It's pretty funny, my mom also snagged this shirt for herself, vowing to never wear it when/if I'm wearing mine. I suppose my fashion sense is rubbing off, maybe I can talk her into getting me more plaid. Are you big into wearing plaid?!

OOTD: Faux Fur & Leopard

Hey all-

I wore this a few months ago to meet a girlfriend for drinks. I love this blouse, it's sheer & has gold buttons. Of course I can't turn down an opportunity to wear my beloved faux fur vest. The leopard was the final touch to this ensemble. I think it turned out great! Would you wear faux fur, sheer & leopard together?!

Orange, Faux Fur & Leopard= Perfection

Hi readers-

I hope you had amazing Thanksgivings, Black Fridays & Cyber Monday!! This is the first year I didn't go home, so no family time for me. I also couldn't participate in BF or CM because I was working- BLEH!

I did; however, get to grab drinks with one of my girl friends I hadn't seen in years this past weekend. That was great! So much FUN.

This is the outfit I wore Saturday night. Since I have to wear black, white & gray for work, I try not to wear any of those colors when not working. I opted for this bright orange blouse. I'm always looking for the opportunity to wear my faux fur vest. So naturally, I had to throw in on over my blouse. I had some trouble deciding which shoes to wear. I'd wanted to wear my patent leather taupe Sam & Libby pumps, but the weather was a tad chilly, so leopard booties seemed like the better choice.

All in all, I'm very happy with the way this outfit turned out.

Life's A Gamble

This past weekend, I had the pleasure of getting out of Richmond to celebrate a friend's birthday. We headed to the Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races in West Virginia. It's A Faux Fur Day

I took these pictures last month after finding a blogger who rarely looked up in her photos. I decided I'd give it a try. I must admit, it's a little weird.

Anywho, I love this out outfit. Something about the vest, cold shoulder blouse & the boots that just work together. I've worn it a few times (twice to be exact) out at night. It's something I throw on last minute when I have nothing else to wear. What do you put on when you're in a rush?!
