Fork & Cork

Today was Fork & Cork; which is a wine festival in Blacksburg. I have never been before but decided to venture out this year. I actually had a lot of fun & drank a lot of sangria. I was also really excited to wear my Lilla P dress I won in a giveaway a few months ago. This dress is undoubtedly is one of my favorites. It is extremely soft & I cannot wait to purchase a few more pieces from the line.

No Such Thing As Too Many Ruffles

Yes, it's more ruffles!! This is the third day in a row I've sported ruffles. What can I say, I like ruffles. Only this time, they're on my shoes. I saw these a few months back & just had to have them. I  decided to wear them to the office today to break them in & I think it was a success. They're actually really comfortable (thanks to the platform). Sooo what do you think of the shoes?!

Birds At Work

I saw this shirt at Forever 21 over the weekend & just had to have it? Maybe it's the ruffles, maybe it's the birds, not sure. But I must say, I love this purchase. I decided to be lazy at work today & throw on a pair of slacks (eww). Sometimes I think I'd be happier at a job that allows me to wear jeans. I am very certain I can dress up denim a lot easier than dress pants, strange?! Lately, I haven't had too much say on the blog, but a lot has been happening! Anyway, I hope you enjoy these birds as much as I do!!

A Grey Ole Time

Sorry readers, I needed a bit of a vacation from life. I went home to the country for a few days & spent some quality time with my mom. We went shopping & she bought me some goodies & gave me some moolah (since I'm always broke). I also managed to slip out of the house to have some margaritas with my BFF. It was a nice getaway.

I actually wore this outfit a few weeks ago. Went on a double date with one of my best friends. It's a little odd that we have to plan dates since we live in the same town, but we did vow to go to a wine festival next weekend, which I cannot wait for!

Pretty, Shiny, Sparkly

That's what races through my mind when I see something as glimmery as this blazer. It's pure heaven. Because my jacket's so blingy, I decided to keep the rest of my outfit simple. This is similar to what I wore this weekend, so if you saw me, this isn't the exact same outfit (these pics were taken a month ago). I notices that all of my sequined clothes are black, which is a problem. I will be purchasing colorful sequins next time!

Ruffles & Sequins & Lace, Oh My!

I've mentioned before how I love being slightly over the top. This outfit incorporates all of my favorites: ruffles, sequins & lace. For the average girl, it may seem like too much. But for me, it's just perfect. What do you think?!

A Little Color Never Hurt Anyone

I cannot get enough of a bodycon skirt & it's versatility. I can wear this skirt to the office (like I did today) or even out. Of course, for a night out, I'd wear it cinched with a belt at the waist to show a little leg. I like how this outfit actually came out. I was slightly skeptical about the colors & whether it was going to ride up all day, but I'm happy with the end result. Also, the sequins on the pockets of the cardi gives it a little something special, don't ya think?! I'll post a pic when/if I wear it out. Until then, check out my (semi-) office appropriate look!

Sunday Funday

I actually wore this outfit while running at Target on Sunday. I was going to pick up some moisturizer because I was running low. Well, Target has the power to convince me I need other things. Needless to say, I left the store with moisturizer... & nail polish, blush, wedges, a dress, a loofah & a 32-color eye shadow palette. Oops is the only word to describe my unplanned shopping excursion. Ooh, Target wins again.

OOFTD: It's Never Enough Until It's Too Much

I am absolutely obsessed with sequins! The more sequins, the better. It only made sense for me to pair this tank with a shiny pink satin blazer. Sometimes when I get dressed, I think "It's never enough until it's too much." I like to be a little over the top (I wore my smokey eyes to the gym today). This outfit describes my personality better than any other. Be prepared for more sparkles, this is only the beginning!
