OOFTD: Busy, Busy Day

Wow, I am so glad today is almost over. I spent most of my day working on edits for the online magazine, CocoKouture, which I write articles. I finished the edits for two articles and I still have one more to complete. Not to mention, the office was very busy today. I need a break & I need it NOW! So this is how I'm taking my break, by blogging (& enjoying a glass of wine). The only thing getting me through the night is that tomorrow's Friday! Well, I've got to get back to writing- Perfection Is Everything!!

The tittle pretty much sums it up. My usual photographer was busy and I've yet to buy a tripod (maybe I should've bought one of these instead of the clothes I just bought- oops). So here is the outfit I wore to work today... taken on my bedroom floor. How nice, ugh. The picture quality isn't that great either. I need to get my life together.

Better Late Than Never, Right?!

I have FINALLY come up with what I'm giving up for the rest of Lent: Buying Black Clothes!!! For those of you who know me,  I can pretty much always be found wearing some black. By all means, I am not a dark, depressed person- actually, I'm rather happy. Plus brights have been all over the runways this season, so naturally I must follow the trend. I was casually browsing my usual blogs and shopping sites, when I stumbled across this dress. I must have it. Surprisingly, I'd prefer the Fuchsia & Bright Teal over the Black! The absolute best part about this dress, it's only $19.99! I'm definitely purchasing them both. Wish me luck with not buying black, I will most definitely need it.

OOFTD: Sounds Good In Theory

Lucky for me, I"m feeling a lot better and can bring you an outfit post. I know you've missed me ;-) Anyway, I actually wore this to work Friday. I love casual Fridays. I live in jeans & love an opportunity to wear them. Aside from purses & sunglasses, I definitely spend the most on my denim. I got this pair about a year ago. They're actually bootcut, but I couldn't resist stuffing them into these boots. On a different note, I really like this shirt. It's made with the softest cotton ever & the color is to die. I typically gravitate towards dark colors, but the peachiness of the blouse is more spring. I plan to look for more lighter colors in the future. Sometimes, it just takes a little color to brighten a day.

Oh How I Miss Miami

The warm weather only lasted a few days. Today was a tad chilly & made me think of better times. I went to Miami Spring Break 2009 (according to my purple neon SB tee). The weather there was beautiful every single day. Just reminiscing makes me crave a vacation even more... or at least some decent weather. Until then, I'll be living vicariously through these photos.

Celeb Fav: Kim Kardashian

This is by far my favorite celeb outfit. I love the sheer shirt paired with the distresses skinny jeans. I am also a big fan of these unique feathered Christian Louboutins- aren't these shoes amazing?! Kim isn't often found with her Balenciaga City Bag, which I adore. I definitely plan to recreate this outfit... with more affordable pieces of course.

Spring Is Here!

The weather thus far has been nothing short of beautiful. The perfect weather for dresses! I missed out on this dress the first time around when Target collaborated with Libertine. On March 13th, I basically sprinted to Target to get this dress (along with a Tucker one). Luckily, no one had snatched the smalls. My favorite thing about this dress is the puffed sleeves, so trendy right now. If you haven't gotten your GO International dress(s), you should because they are selling out quickly!... Hopefully, I'll be picking up a few more!!
